<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="5"><span style="font-family: 新細明體;">野</span> <span style="font-family: 新細明體;">外定向是一項高度發揮個人智慧和體能的野外運動。運動員需憑個人定向技術，地圖閱讀能力，指南針運用及自己思考判斷，在陌生野外環境中，尋找賽會預先放置</span>
<span style="font-family: 新細明體;">的各控制點。控制點的位置是預先繪在地圖上，當運動員到達控制點時可以找到控制點標誌，它是三面一方呎（３０ｃｍ</span>
<span style="font-family: 新細明體;">Ｘ</span> <span style="font-family: 新細明體;">３０ｃｍ）的旗號，對角分為白色和橙紅色，控制點編號印在上方白色的位置，運動員利用附在標誌上的密碼夾在控制咭適當之位置上打孔作記，證明他曾到達該</span>
